Preparing young people with skills for life. We’re Scouts and everyone is welcome here. Every week, we help almost half a million people aged 4-25 develop skills for life. Are you ready to join the adventure?

Squirrels – 4 and 5 years.

Squirrels, help young people gain skills for life at a time when it matters most and where it’s most needed.

Beavers – 6 to 8 years

Try new things. Make new friends. Joining Beavers is just the beginning of your big adventure.

Cubs – 8 to 10½ years

Develop new skills. Soar to great heights. Being a Cub opens up a whole new world on their path in Scouting.

Scouts – 10½ to 14 years

Jump in and get muddy. Give back and get set. Scouts ignore the butterflies and go for it, and soon so will you.

Explorers – 14 to 18 years

Try more. See more. Do more. At Explorers, you’ll stand on your own two feet, and make memories to last a lifetime.

Scout Network – 18 to 25 years

Sefton North Scouts, based in Southport and Formby, Merseyside, is home to over 900 young people – both Boys and Girls, from the age of four enjoying life-changing adventures every week.

Our members gain valuable skills for life such as teamwork and leadership, planning, and self-motivation. Our badges and activities help our members gain cultural awareness and develop a positive outlook. We help young people become the best citizen they can be. Show them what they can do and even help them change the world. We aim to actively engage and support young people in their personal development. Additionally empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.
